IPWEAQ presents ADAC (in-house) to the Scenic Rim Regional Council...This event will focus on the ADAC implementation and asset data consistency management
11-01-2012 | 00:00 - 12:00 AEST
Asset Design & As Constructed (ADAC) is now the NAMS.AU intended single data specification for Australia. ADAC is used to facilitate the collection and lodgement of detailed information on contributed civil infrastructure and associated assets provided by the private sector to councils, and in ongoing management of those with other assets within councils
The IPWEA has developed the Asset Design As Constructed (ADAC) standard to assist local government and utilities to capture and manage data with consistency. The ADAC standard is a non-proprietary data specification and transport format (XML), which can be used to describe and transmit asset design and ‘as constructed’ data

The IPWEA is also somewhat unique in that it develops a range of highly valuable tools and products that our councils and communities benefit from, such as standard drawings, ADAC, Aus-Spec just to name a few, all put together from an organisation that relies on members to pay and volunteer their time
