This session will cover the evolving role of hydrogen as an alternative fuel for cars, trucks, and buses, offering insights into global trends and cutting-edge developments by vehicle manufacturers. Attendees will gain an understanding of the progress being made in Australia to establish a reliable hydrogen supply for early adopters, as well as plans for long-term scalability. Whether you're strategising for the next decade or looking to integrate innovative technologies into your fleet today, this webinar will deliver the knowledge needed to assess hydrogen’s potential and opportunities in the transport sector.

Finance for Fleet Managers

The Finance for Fleet Managers webinar is designed to empower Fleet Managers with essential financial knowledge and tools for effective fleet planning and management. This session will explore key areas such as preparing OPEX and CAPEX budgets, understanding asset depreciation, and developing robust 10-year asset replacement plans—crucial components of a comprehensive Fleet Asset Replacement Plan (FAMP). Led by subject matter experts, the discussion will be aligned with the best practice strategies outlined in Chapter One of the IPWEA Plant and Vehicle Management Manual (PVMM). Attendees will leave with practical insights and frameworks to enhance financial decision-making and optimise fleet performance over the long term.

Home charging a fleet of electric vehicles

The Home Charging a Fleet of Electric Vehicles webinar is essential for Fleet Managers planning the transition to electric vehicles (EVs) in response to increasing affordability and the growing pressure to reduce CO2 emissions in 2025. Charging infrastructure remains one of the most significant challenges, and this session will focus on home charging as the most cost-effective and time-efficient solution. Hear from subject matter experts and Fleet Managers who have already navigated the complexities of rolling out EV charging for employees at home. They’ll share valuable lessons learned, practical advice, and recommendations to help you avoid common pitfalls and ensure a smooth transition for your fleet.

Writing and updating fleet policies for the current environment

The Writing and Updating Fleet Policies for the Current Environment webinar is a must-attend for Fleet Managers and organisational leaders aiming to strengthen governance and mitigate risks associated with fleet operations. Many fleets rely heavily on the retained knowledge of a single individual, leaving critical areas such as financial risk, legal compliance, safety, and brand reputation vulnerable. This session will explore the importance of documented policies and procedures, offering practical tips on how to begin or update these essential frameworks. Led by IPWEA and supported by subject matter experts, the discussion will align with the best practice strategies detailed in the IPWEA Plant and Vehicle Management Manual (PVMM). Attendees will gain actionable insights and strategies to improve governance, ensure compliance, and future-proof their fleet operations.

Implementing telematics for success

The Implementing Telematics for Success webinar is a vital opportunity for organisations to stay ahead in the ever-evolving world of fleet management. Telematics has become an essential tool for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of fleet assets, providing critical insights to enhance safety, reduce CO2 emissions, and streamline operations. In this session, experienced Fleet Managers from the IPWEA Fleet community will share their real-world experiences in implementing telematics, highlighting best practices and strategies to maximise its benefits.
