Testimonials

FMC testimony

Mihnea Stanciuc, Fleet Coordinator at Hume City Council, completed the IPWEA Fleet Management Certificate in 2022. Mihnea is an experienced fleet practitioner from Europe and found the course to be a great refresher that connected his on-the-job experience with a formal framework for managing a fleet. Watch this short video to hear from Mihnea about his experience completing the course.

"Receiving this scholarship for the Fleet Management Certificate holds significant potential for positively impacting both my organisation (Te Kohao Health) and the communities it serves. As an integral part of an organisation catering to a vulnerable community with complex health needs, the provision of a reliable vehicle fleet is paramount to our mission. This scholarship will equip me with the specialised knowledge and skills needed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our organisation's vehicle fleet management. By gaining insights into strategic planning, maintenance, and optimal resource utilisation, I will be better equipped to ensure that our fleet operates reliably and consistently, getting our workers out safely and on time."

Jarom Koko, Te Kohao Health

"The course has been fantastic, and both the Utilisation and Financial Management have been very helpful. The content is clear, and the format is great the way it builds on itself. We have an expensive piece of equipment that I had thought would be best to hire or contract the service rather than replacing it and the last two sessions validate this. It's great to be able to put the data together to justify the best financial decision for our city."

Kirk Scopac, Fleet Acquisition Administrator, City of Temple (Texas, US)

"I found the course really good and got a lot of it as well as it supporting processes that I’d been taught by the Works Manager I first worked under when starting – now I have the extra knowledge and can refer to things from the course for backup with a few things here that need to be changed."

Kym Prattley, Administration Coordinator Works, Corangamite Shire Council
