ROAD SAFETY PANEL

In 2025 the Road Safety Panel conducted a review of their Terms of Reference. As part of the review process, the membership of the Panel was considered and terms were added to those representing Local Government and Private Industry.
As such, one three year term will be available to individuals who wish to represent either Local Government or Private Industry in 2026.
Sitting members can renominate, with the results to be decided at the December 2025 Panel meeting. Local Government and Private Industry nominees must be a practicing Senior Road Safety Auditor. Terms will commence in January and conclude in December.
In the event that more nominations are received than positions are available, the nominations will be put to a vote through the remaining panel members.
The position on the Road Safety Panel is a voluntary position, with the Panel meetings taking approximately an hour on a monthly basis.
One of the duties the Panel members perform is to endorse Auditor applications. A condition of application is that the applicant must be a currently accredited Senior Road Safety Auditor in WA and be listed on the Road Safety Portal for the duration of their term.
Nominations will be open from the 12 November 2025 and will close at 5.00pm 28 November 2025.
