THE 2021 IPWEA NZ ASSET MANAGEMENT EXCELLENCE AWARDS

The 16th IPWEA NZ Asset Management Excellence Awards will be announced at the Awards dinner on 8th September 2021, at IPWEA NZ's annual conference in Auckland. These annual awards will showcase entrants who have taken innovative ideas to fruition, and celebrate the achievements of challenging projects.

The Asset Management Excellence Awards 2021 provide an opportunity for asset and infrastructure management professionals to showcase their great work. A successful infrastructure project is usually a team effort delivered by a range of parties including local government, central government, consultants, contractors and suppliers. The Awards provide recognition of how teams have come together to deliver something special and not achievable by one party alone.

2021 AWARD CATEGORIES
There are several new categories this year, ensuring that more specific achievements are recognised; with the exciting new Supreme Award, being the ultimate recognition of asset management excellence.

  1. Best Public Works Project Under $2.0m
  2. Best Public Works Project $2.0m - $5.0m
  3. Best Public Works Project over $5.0m
  4. Excellence in Asset Management
  5. Excellence in Project Innovation
  6. Excellence in Water Project
  7. Excellence in Road Safety
  8. Excellence in Environment & Sustainability
  9. Supreme Asset Management Excellence Award (category winners only)

Entries closed 25 June 2021.

Past Winner Testimonial:
"Entry into the IPWEA NZ Excellence Awards delivers multiple benefits to all. The client and the community get a chance to celebrate success within their community. The contractors, consultants and staff involved get an opportunity to promote their achievements to their peers and receive feedback.
Finally the whole of our industry involved in the supply of the Public Works and Services gets the opportunity to learn, grow and develop. All of these are critical to the continuing growth of our industry and its recognition within our society.
Therefore I fully recommend to anyone entering into the IPWEA Excellence Awards.
The effort required will be paid back many times over."
~ David Adamson,GM City Services, Christchurch City Council.
