BPEQ Launch New Look Website
The Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland (BPEQ) has made a big leap into the digital age with the launch of its new look website.
The old website has been replaced with an efficient, easy to use product which is the culmination of many hours of work by BPEQ staff.
Acting Registrar Gary Stirling said the launch of the new website, as well as upgrades to BPEQ’s database management system would be a plus for staff and RPEQs.
“BPEQ now has a website which is easy to use, current and keeps our RPEQs better connected,” said Mr Stirling.
“The new website will feature more information and materials for RPEQs and the public and they can now conveniently access it from the palm of their hands via their smart phone, tablet or other portable device.
“There is also an improved RPEQ personal page in which they will be able to add information such as their LinkedIn and qualifications.
“At the same time as launching our new look website our registration database is being upgraded to provide improved access to RPEQ records and reduced processing time for applications”.
The website and database upgrades are in response to feedback from RPEQs, and members of the public using the RPEQ search function and accessing information, and is part of BPEQ’s engagement and communication strategy.
Mr Stirling said further enhancements are in the works to make registration renewals more straightforward and reduce paperwork and administration.
“This is just the first stage of future plans for the website and database, so watch this space,” he said.
