Principal Civil Works Advisor
Permanent, Full Time
Level 8 ($87,777.96 – $98,361.08) + 9 day F/N + up to 12% Super
Based in Biloela, you will provide professional advice, leadership and mentoring to Works Coordinators, field supervisors and employees in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Construction and Maintenance activities within Council’s Infrastructure Services Department. You will also provide professional advice in relation to development applications.
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate or possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering (highly regarded) and/or Certificate IV in Local Government (Operational Works)
- Extensive experience in the supervision and management of Civil Projects (Road Works and Drainage) in the Local Government Sector or similar
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Queensland General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) Certification and a current class ‘c’ manual drivers licence
