Pre-registration for infrastructure expo CIVENEX NSW 2015 is now open. As the event enters its sixtieth year, why should you attend?
1. NSW’s premier infrastructure expo
CIVENEX NSW is the state’s premier infrastructure expo. It provides the perfect opportunity to view the latest plant and fleet equipment, talk to the suppliers and network with your peers.
2. New opening hours
This year IPWEA has introduced new family hours in response to visitor feedback from previous events.
“It can be hard for people to get away during work hours, and they have other responsibilities after work,” said IPWEA NSW CEO John Roydhouse.
The new hours should also make it easier for visitors outside of Sydney and from interstate to travel to the event.
3. Family-friendly event
If your family is not interested in following you around the expo, for the first time activities will be available for families to enjoy on site. In addition, live music will be provided by a yet-to-be-named Australian icon who will also be performing.
4. Educational seminar program
IPWEA has developed a program of educational seminars around the theme ‘Learn to earn’. As Roydhouse explains: “ultimately profitability is what drives the industry”.
Among the seminar program will be ‘Dial before you dig’, a plant and vehicle management session about best practice guidelines and asset protection.
5. Live demonstrations
Historically, one of the most popular drawcards at CIVENEX is the live demonstration area. This is where visitors can see large and small equipment in action before investing.
CIVENEX 2015 will feature a larger demonstration area, with live action from some of the biggest players in business as well as many of the smaller businesses which always have a surprise or two up their sleeves.
