VicRoads has partnered with safety film production house Training Snippets to repackage the Truck Rollover Awareness Program as a series of eight videos.
The series of videos are available for purchase at the
Training Snippets website.
They focus on topics such as seatbelt safety, the centre of gravity, centrifugal forces, dynamic loads and the ‘one kilometre per hour factor’.
VicRoads developed the Truck Rollover Awareness Program in conjunction with the Victorian Road Freight Advisory Council and the state’s transport industry.
The organisation said the films were ideal for training, toolbox sessions and refreshers.
“The Heavy Vehicle Rollover Prevention Program provides organisations with information to run their own training and awareness presentations for staff,” VicRoads said.
“The presentation is an important part of understanding what causes crashes and how, by working together, they can be prevented.”
