Training webinars covering Fleet Management Certificate

By FLEET e-news posted 22-10-2012 18:31

The IPWEA will offer a seven-part series of training webinars to cover the five units of the IPWEA Fleet Management Certificate from October to December.

The webinars will run for 60-90 minutes each and will run through the key steps involved in procuring and managing an item of plant, vehicle or equipment.

The five units of the certificate covered by the webinars are: utilisation, whole-of-life costs, tendering, maintenance and regulatory requirements.

The webinars are must for plant and fleet managers, works and parks supervisors, workshop supervisors, works engineers and asset managers – essentially anyone working with plant or fleet within their organisation.

Participants will need a computer with an internet connection, speakers and a microphone, with preferably a headset with microphone recommended.

The trainer will be Uniqco’s Grant Andrews, IPWEA’s partner in delivery of the Systems Plus program. He has been involved in the development of the content and assessment for the Fleet Management Certificate.
