Enrolments are now open for asset management and road construction courses at The University of Tasmania, developed by the Centre for Pavement Engineering Education Inc. (CPEE) and IPWEA.

Professional Honours in Infrastructure Asset Management: This course  aims at providing graduates with the knowledge and skills to fill senior positions in this specialist field within local and state government, public works authorities and with engineering consultants.

Professional Honours in Road Engineering & Construction: This course aims to provide professional engineers in public works and industry positions with access to modern tools to efficiently design and construct durable roads and highways.

The Infrastructure Asset Management course is based on the International Infrastructure Management Manual (IIMM) and both courses are to be completed via distance learning. Both courses also have Commonwealth supported places (HECS) available.

Students have the option to leave the courses after completion of four units with a Graduate Certificate or complete all eight units to receive the Professional Honours qualification.

CPEE is an accredited private provider of higher education that specialises in courses servicing the road and pavement sector.

The courses are scheduled to begin on 23 February and run through to the exams in mid June.
