he Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Professional Honours in Infrastructure Asset Management), along with the existing Graduate Certificate in Infrastructure Asset Management programs.
These courses aim to provide graduates with the knowledge and skills to fill senior positions in this specialist field within local and state government, public works authorities and with engineering consultants.
Based on the internationally acclaimed International Infrastructure Management Manual (IIMM), the courses have been developed to broaden the skills and knowledge gained in engineering and science undergraduate courses or other approved undergraduate courses, and provide specialist skills in all areas relevant to infrastructure asset management.
Like the IIMM, the course caters for managers new to the field, as well as those seeking to learn more about advanced asset management practices.
The 8-unit Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Professional Honours in Infrastructure Asset Management) includes specialist technical units developed for each discipline and will begin on 27 January 2014. Students wishing to qualify with only the Grad. Cert. in Infrastructure Asset Management need complete only 4 units of the 8-unit Bachelor of Engineering Technology course.
