‘Building Resilient Communities’ is the theme for the 2020 IPWEA NSW State Conference, which will run from November 4 to 6 in the Hunter Valley.
The State conference provides a unique platform for members, local professionals, regional groups, contractors, consultants and government agencies to present papers on a diverse range of technical and management issues that impact public works professionals, our local communities and most importantly the future of NSW. Submissions for papers close on June 29.
The Engineering Excellence Awards, which aspire to endorse and recognise excellence of Local Government and Public Works Projects across 10 categories, will be presented at a gala dinner at the conference on November 5.
As part of the annual state conference, all councils throughout NSW are encouraged to nominate projects and programs irrespective of size and share best practice with peers in the industry.
As well as putting forward programs and projects, the Engineering Excellence Awards are the perfect opportunity to nominate and recognise inspirational, hardworking and passionate individuals in your organisation.
Award winners will automatically be considered for the National Excellence Awards at the IPWEA National Conference 2021 in Adelaide.
Nominations close on June 19. For more information visit the IPWEA NSW website.
