FLEET Manager’s Column: Power off and reset

Well, 2019 is well and truly underway. After the break, it's worth considering what the year will bring.

I’m not a great New Year's resolution practitioner, but I do like to consider those things I might do a little differently in the year ahead. It may be getting the budget underway earlier so there’s time for a bit more research or input. Perhaps its mapping out two or three improvement initiatives, or it might even be scheduling key tasks that have to be delivered.

The alternate approach to 'power off and reset' is 'copy and paste'. Under this scenario you rewind, follow the same approach as the year before and kick yourself for falling into the same traps and having to cobble together a make-shift solution.

The 2019 IPWEA Australasian Fleet Conference will be held at the Brisbane Royal International Convention Centre on 25-27 March. The 2019 program focuses on strategy, resources and performance and will include a broad range of content that is relevant, interesting and applicable in your business. Due to the success of previous events, the 2019 conference will include a field trip, taking in facilities at Komatsu and Volvo Trucks. Evening networking sessions, breakfast sessions and lunch with exhibitors complements a great program and a fantastic value for money conference by the industry for the industry.

Register now to take advantage of early bird pricing. I look forward to seeing you there.
