On Friday May 5, we will be supporting international emergency response agency RedR Australia’s Wear Red for RedR fundraiser.

child_showering_vanuatu_resized.jpgIn the media, we’re seeing the devastating effects of chemical weapons deployed in the Syrian conflict and the millions facing famine in East Africa. This is an opportunity to stand up and show your solidarity for people affected by disasters around the globe.

IPWEA was a co-founder of RedR Australia, which mobilises the right people with the right skills to make a difference when disasters strike. We are proud to be supporting this charity that has experts in civil engineering and water and sanitation as well as experts in IT, food security, education and child protection supporting refugees from the Syrian crisis, those facing famine or food shortages in Africa and engaged in disaster preparedness in cyclone-prone countries in the Pacific.

Join us and show your support for RedR Australia on Friday 5 May by signing up to hold an office fundraiser or to deploy your own teams of people to discover landmarks in Sydney and Melbourne.
