Opening keynote speaker for the IPWEA Australasian Fleet Conference announced

IPWEA is pleased to announce Simon Ginn as the opening keynote speaker at the IPWEA Australasian Fleet Conference in Brisbane on the 23-25 May 2017.


Simon_Ginn.pngSimon will be presenting on autonomous vehicles and their impact on fleet operations and maintenance. The presentation will explore the impact of autonomous vehicles on both society and the fleet manager.

Simon is an eminent engineer and urban planner with over 25 years’ experience in planning infrastructure. The focus of Simon’s career has been on planning transport infrastructure and the layout and design of the urban form. Simon has worked on key infrastructure projects in Australia, New Zealand, Middle East, Europe and North America

Simon is a chartered engineer and holds degrees in engineering, sciences, urban planning and marketing. He is recognised as a visionary and is renowned for thinking “outside the box”.

The IPWEA Australasian Fleet Conference will run from 23 to 25 May 2017 in Brisbane and includes a number of plenary sessions and two streams covering Fleet Management and Fleet Maintenance. Delegates to the conference will receive VIP access to the Brisbane Truck Show on 25 May.
