November has been quite a month for IPWEA FLEET. We continued to roll out professional development opportunities to our fleet community with our Plant and Vehicle Fleet Management workshop series in seven locations around Australia and the completion of a six part online Fleet Management Training program to participants from local government, government and the private sector.
On top of that, we have two great announcements! Firstly, IPWEA FLEET will hold its inaugural Australasian Fleet Conference in conjunction with the Brisbane Truck Show on 23 – 25 May 2017. This is going to be a unique opportunity to bring the industry together to focus on efficiency, innovation and best practice.
As if that isn’t enough, we also welcome Repco as a valued Corporate Partner and exclusive sponsor of the IPWEA FLEET Achievement Awards.
Also in this edition we look at Fleet Management around the world, with the first of a two-part interview with Noel Ilao, Director, Bureau of Equipment with the Philippines Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH). Noel has a large and diverse fleet distributed across the Philippines and is making great progress applying a best practice fleet management approach.
