According to a new report, Who Moves What Where, Australia’s domestic freight task increased 50% since 2006 and is expected to increase by 26% over the next decade.
On releasing the report, NTC Chief Executive Paul Retter said the report provided useful information to governments and industry about the nature of Australia’s freight and passenger movements, and would help those involved in infrastructure, planning and investment, operational improvements and regulatory changes.
