After 15-plus years at 447 Kent Street in the Sydney CBD, IPWEA Australasia has moved offices to Level 12, 32 Walker Street, North Sydney NSW 2060.
Our new single dial-in phone number for all of Australia is 1300 416 745. Please alter your records and contact details. Direct dial-in numbers now appear on everyone's respective email signatures.
IPWEA NSW, from whom we have sub-leased and shared offices during that time, is not moving and remains at Kent St. I would like to thank the IPWEA NSW Board, their CEO John Roydhouse, and their team for the times that we have all shared together. We are parting offices on good terms and will continue to work harmoniously and collaboratively, as we do with all IPWEA Divisions.
Australasia's move affords us more space, increased office flexibility and above all, is a substantial cost saving. As with any move, some staff have spent their entire IPWEA life at Kent St, so there is always a touch of nostalgia in leaving, but this has quickly given way to the excitement of newer premises and a new location to settle into.
The new office is only a two minute walk from North Sydney railway station and is a brief ten minute train ride from our current Town Hall station over the majestic Sydney Harbour Bridge. For regular train visitors/users it is the T1 North Shore line – platform 16 from Central or platform 3 from Town Hall.
For our visitors catching the train from the airport (which is the cheapest, fastest and most reliable way to get into the city) you arrive from the airport at Central on platform 23 and change to platform 16. All trains on this line stop at North Sydney station.
An open invitation is extended to all of our IPWEA Australasia business partners and associates to call into our new offices at any time. We will also be hosting a number of meetings in our board room. You will be made most welcome and we hope to see you at our new home in the near future.
