Infrastructure Asset Management Diploma Proves Attractive

The interest and enrolments into the IPWEA sponsored “Infrastructure Asset Management” Graduate Certificate (4 Units), and the new Graduate Diploma (8 Units) courses have been well above expectation.

This reflects the growing demand for the specialised leaning in the public sector concerning infrastructure assets and their effective management, especially against the backdrop of funding restrictions, yet ever increasing demand.

Based on IPWEA's internationally acclaimed International Infrastructure Management Manual (IIMM), these Programs have been developed to broaden the skills and knowledge gained in engineering and science undergraduate courses, or other approved undergraduate courses, and provides specialist skills in all areas relevant to infrastructure asset management. Like the IIMM Manual, the course caters for managers new to the field as well as those seeking to learn more about advanced asset management practices.

IPWEA with CPEE and university partner, University of Tasmania, has ensured the content of the courses provide graduands with the knowledge and skills to fill senior positions in this specialist field within local and state government, public works authorities and with engineering consultants.

For full details contact CPEE or go directly to the GradDip website via Distance Learning.
