Since June 2012 the Water Sensitive SA team has been engaging with a broad range of stakeholders to help inform future investment in a WSUD training, education and development initiative for SA.
Whether you were one of the 225 who completed the practitioner survey in July, one of the 100 plus who attended the two workshops and site visits in August, or one of the dozens who posted comments on the online forum or spoke with us in person, your input has been invaluable.
This is your chance to hear the results of this engagement and find out what having a dedicated WSUD capacity building program would mean for South Australia.
Adelaide City Council will present details of newest WSUD initiative – the Peacock Road project – as part of the event, which will be followed by a guided tour of the site.
RSVP by Friday Nov 2nd: http://watersensitivesa.com/event/water-sensitive-sa-celebration
Water Sensitive SA is about defining the ‘who, what, why and how’ of developing a skilled and supported network of professionals who can lead the implementation of WSUD in South Australia.
It aims to document a clear business case to direct investment in an ongoing training, education and development initiative for SA – a dedicated ‘capacity-building’ program. The initiative is led by the Adelaide and Mount Lofty Ranges NRM Board, in partnership with a number of relevant
state government agencies and a broad range of industry associations.

Many Thanks
Andrew Thomas
