Not only is New Zealand on
The Guardian
’s list of places to visit in 2015
, but it will be home to the IPWEA and IFME’s joint conference in June.
The theme of this year’s conference will be ‘Sustainable Communities, Sharing Knowledge’ in line with the mission statements of IFME and IPWEA.
Headlining the event will be keynotes Lawrence Yule, President of Local Government New Zealand and the Mayor of Hastings District Council; Roger LaSalle, TED speaker and Chair of the CEO Institute; and clinical psychologist Nigel Latta.
In addition to the keynotes, delegates will be able to choose from eight dedicated content streams that will run concurrently over the course of the event.
Details of these streams can now be viewed online. They include:
Asset Management practice
Engineering and Management
/
Procurement and Contract
Strategic Asset Management
Fiji Focus
/
Road and Bridge Technology & Innovation
/
Road Efficiency
/
Rebuilding Infrastructure after the Earthquake
Roads and Transport
Three waters
Sustainable Communities
Sustainable Practices
Or view the program online here
The conference will be held at the Rotorua Energy Events Centre from 7-10 June 2015 and will be followed by technical tours on Thursday, 11 June 2015.
Early Bird registrations will be available until 30 April 2015, so take the opportunity to go online
here
and register you and your team at a fraction of the full ticket price.
In addition to the conference program, delegates will have the opportunity to attend the many social events as well as tours of the area – known for its geothermic activity and Maori culture.
