Applications for the six-day asset management tour to New Zealand in November will close on 5 October 2012.
The tour will include attendance at the 2012 NAMS NZ International Asset Management Conference on 19-20 November, as well as visits to the NZ Office of the Auditor General, Auckland Council, the NZ Transport Agency and Hamilton City Council among others.
The theme for the Conference is Asset Management at the Crossroads.
The tour has been organised by IPWEA NAMS.AU in partnership with NAMS NZ and will run from 18-23 November.
It will include an overview of current asset management issues including auditing, the changing drivers of asset management improvement, community plans and levels of service, and other innovative asset management implementations across a range of asset classes.
The tour costs $3000 per person (plus GST) and includes hotel accommodation, meals, bus/coach transportation, council visits and conference registration. Attendees will have to make their own flight arrangements to and from New Zealand.
