NSW TAFE has released the second in its series of thought leadership reports, with their new publication examining skills and disruption in government.
The document examines the rising expectations for improved service delivery and outcomes from citizens and the pressure government agencies face in raising customer service standards to meet demand.
The report proposes that, coupled with an increased demand for improved soft skills and a broad need for digital upskilling, the next decade will see the government workforce reshaped like never before.
Using a case study about Sydney‘s Northern Beaches Council, the 10-page publication outlines an action plan for councils to approach the predicted challenges and set baseline skills for development with the changing times.
