2022 Conference and Excellence Awards

‘Public Projects and Post Pandemic Pressures’ Conference

Nominations have now closed for the 2022 Excellence Awards.

IPWEA SA Excellence Awards Dinner, Friday 2 December 2022

Riverbank Rooms, Adelaide Convention Centre, 6.30pm – 11.00pm

Theme 1: Managing Expectations

It’s a different world post-pandemic, and it requires a shift in thinking from all stakeholders about what can be achieved in what time frame and for what budget.

Theme 2: Procurement and Contracts

Supply chain issues, labour shortages and a deluge of spending on infrastructure all result in pressure on procurement and contracts extending into multiple financial years. Adapting to this new normal requires sharp thinking.

Theme 3: Capital Project Delivery / Maintenance Contract Delivery Charges

Sometimes old contracts no longer reflect the reality of what is possible in a changed business environment. Navigation through these turbulent waters requires flexibility and a spirit of partnership.

Theme 4: Innovation in Asset Renewal

Necessity is the mother of invention, and sometimes Adversity is the father of adoption. Now is the time to try new approaches and new solutions!
