We already know how valuable these meetings are – they are essentially free mini- conferences! We strongly encourage you to extend this learning opportunity to your younger team members. Bring them along and they can meet everyone, learn something new and even have the opportunity to present at future sessions. Together we can build the next generation of public works professionals.

The Next Meeting of East Coast Branch will be held on Friday 18 October 2013

Location Central Hawke's Bay

Why Should I Attend?

Keynote presenter: Edward Guy.
Edward is a civil engineer and founder of Rationale Limited. As a member of NZ Treasury’s National Infrastructure Advisory Board Edward is uniquely placed to update branch members on the challenges and opportunities facing New Zealand infrastructure practitioners. Edward will provide insight on whether we are on the right path in terms of infrastructure management and investment.

Also, updates will be provided by the IPWEA Board along with presentations from both government and private sector professionals from around the South Island.

– Full agenda and presentation details to come.

The benefits of staying connected with other professionals who are active in our industry are huge. Our busy workloads can sometimes leave us feeling isolated. Branch meetings are a great, low cost, way to improve productivity. They provide exposure to new ideas and re-energise us for the task ahead!

Ambrose Golf 9 hole golf challenge in the afternoon.

Young IPWEA  we strongly encourage you to extend this learning opportunity to your younger team members.
