  • 1.  Engineering Approval vetting process

    I would be interested to receive feedback or details relating to the vetting process used by other Councils for engineering approvals. To clarify this is post development approval but prior to any starting on site.  This relates to when the Developers Rep submits detailed design drawings for Council approval for roads and services etc. Does anyone have a check list or formal vetting process to ensure the submitted information is complete?

    Hi Michael,

    Check PNCC's Engineering Standards for Land Development (link below) this sets out all the requirements for engineering plan approval and for completeion of works.

    Hello Michael,

    I have now worked at Sorell for just over 12 months. In that time I have created the above Check List that is still a work in progress but may give you some guidance. Some items may be a little different to your standards.
