IPWEA is an official event partner with the Smart City Expo World Congress to be held 5-7 November in Barcelona, Spain.
The Barcelona Smart City Expo World Congress is the world's biggest and most influential smart city event. Each year it attracts over 25,000 delegates from around the world, more than 1100 exhibitors, and over 600 speakers, who gather to share their vision on how to build a more sustainable and liveable urban future.
In 2024, IPWEA, the Internet of things Alliance Australia (IoTAA), the Australian Smart Communities Association (ASCA) and the Digital Twin Partnership (DTP) are proud to be collaboratively leading an Australian delegation to Barcelona for the 2024 Smart Cities Expo World Congress.
This year’s cross-industry collaboration is a first for the Australian smart cities sector. The peak bodies are calling for start-ups, entrepreneurs, local government practitioners, SMEs, academics, government decision makers, and industry leaders to join the delegation to represent Australia this November.
Twenty free all-access passes worth $2,000 each are up for grabs. The trip offers participants the opportunity to showcase their work, connect with city leaders and build strong professional networks.
As an official partner, we are excited to provide the chance for twenty lucky members of the promotion partners to attend the event.
