​The Fleet Council met prior to the fleet conference in March to conduct annual strategic planning for IPWEA FLEET.

A range of subjects were discussed including the year in review, FM Certificate, Fleet Health Checks, Workshop Series, CORSaMS, and other important agenda items. 

The group discussed how the above initiatives fit within the Strategic Plan to best serve IPWEA FLEET members. Needless to say, it was agreed that several initiatives are to be reworked due to the ongoing situation with coronavirus. The Fleet Council was particularly concerned with how the unprecedented situation is rapidly unfolding and its impact on the fleet industry.

The Fleet Council has re-prioritised several initiatives with the likelihood that all training will move online for the immediate future to mitigate any health risks and better serve members. A number of announcements will be made in due course so stay tuned.
