Rob Wilson,  IPWEA FLEET Manager

As fleet professionals, we need to think strategically about change and how we ensure our fleet and its management remains relevant in the future. This is the essence of strategic management – preparing your organisation (or fleet department) for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. As Zig Ziglar said: “Success occurs when opportunity meets preparation."

You only have to look at the latest edition of FLEET intouch to see the range of change affecting our industry. Issues such as new technologies, changing Australian Standards and compliance obligations are seemingly endless and often need to be addressed against a backdrop of organisational change and tightening budgets.

The IPWEA Australasian Fleet Conference has been developed around the notion of using technology, best practice and efficiency to meet the challenges faced by fleet practitioners. The conference program has been developed to provide a balance of forward-looking, thought provoking sessions and practical knowledge that can be applied immediately in the workplace.

Registrations to the conference are open – so book now!

By the way – don’t forget to put forward your nomination for the IPWEA Fleet Achievement Award sponsored by Repco. With a $5000 toolbox and complimentary registration to the IPWEA Australasian Fleet Conference in Brisbane up for grabs, it’s a prize well worth winning. More information is available here.
