In the development of a project exploring the impediments and potential for water sensitive urban design (WSUD) in South Australia, it was found that there was no existing catalogue of structural WSUD elements in South Australia or Greater Adelaide.

Such a catalogue was considered useful characterise WSUD in South Australia, which is unique in that it has developed in the absence of any mandatory WSUD targets from State Government.

This talk summarises the findings of research into what exists at the present time, why the systems were constructed, and the outcomes of interviews with WSUD practitioners exploring the barriers and opportunities for WSUD in SA.
