About

Shaping the Future: Integrating Innovation, Sustainability and Resilience

The Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia - Tasmanian Division invites you to be part of the 2024 Tasmanian Works and Engineering Conference at MyState Arena in Hobart.

With the theme "Shaping the Future: Integrating Innovation, Sustainability and Resilience" we are particularly interested in investigating how the sector is looking forward – what are the key projects, plans and challenges to face over the coming years?

With presentations about the Hobart Airport upgrade, the construction of the new Bridgewater Bridge, TasWater improvements and plans, as well as exciting projects across several local governments – there is a lot to look forward to with regard to public works in the state.

Venue & Accommodation

This year's conference will be held at MyState Arena, a fantastic venue located in Hobart and we are looking forward to excellent speakers, trade sponsor opportunities and networking.
