As the peak body for public works engineers, IPWEA South Australia annually recognises and celebrates the best in public works engineering in South Australia. All councils and engineers are encouraged to nominate their best people, projects and programs. IPWEA’s Excellence Awards encourage everyone to share best practice with peers in the industry and highlight best practice partnerships with suppliers and contractors in the sector.

This is your best opportunity to put your team in the spotlight and receive the recognition you deserve at the IPWEA South Australia Excellence Awards Dinner on July 26th. This year’s winners will automatically be state finalists for the 2025 IPWEA National Excellence Awards!

This Evening of Excellence is IPWEA’s most-attended event of the year, where we showcase and honour the best public works projects from across the state from the past year.

We will also honour our IPWEA South Australia Professional of the Year and our Emerging Leader. All of our nominees will have the honour of being nominated for the 2025 International Excellence Awards presented at the International Public Works Conference. This prestigious event is not only a celebration of the best of the public works industry, but also an invaluable opportunity to network with some of the industry’s most important and influential people.
