We are delighted to advise that registrations for the 2025 PD Week are now open!

The program is jam packed with hot industry topics with streams including: Young Professionals; Knowledge Transfer; Transport Planning; Asset Management; Industry Updates; Roads & Traffic Management; Leadership; Cycling & Capital Works; Urban Infrastructure and Native Vegetation &   Project Management.

 

The ever popular “All Things Main Roads WA” Stream will include Policy & Guideline updates; Heavy Vehicle Accreditation & Pilots; Application & Technical Guidelines for Pedestrian Crossing Facilities; Youth Active Transport Road Injuries; School Zone & Children’s Crossing Programs; Children’s Crossing Applications: Understanding the Process; Using Connected Vehicle Data to Evaluate the Impact of Infrastructure Changes on Vehicle Speeds; Turning Movements/Right Filter Removal; Streets Alive Snapshot: Year One (and a bit) Outcomes & Learnings; Crash Safety Barriers; Road Planning and Fresh Branding of HVS and New Strategic     Direction of Operational Focus.

 
CALLING ALL THIRD & FOURTH YEAR UNIVERSITY & TAFE STUDENTS! 

Based on a successful introduction in 2024, we are hoping to assist to      reduce the skills shortage within the industry and to promote the public works sector as an option for consideration by once again including a   special range of sessions just for you! Join us on Friday 21 November for a range of presentations that will prepare you for the workforce, and then stay for our industry mixer and make those connections that will help you get ahead. The industry mixer will include a quick-fire presentation on how to obtain job placements. Students can attend sessions throughout the week for the very special price of $40** to the 24 October then $50**  thereafter. Registration is for onsite attendance only.

 

** A valid student ID must be provided at the time of registration, and must be produced onsite. If a valid ID is not provided entry may be denied.
