President's Message

The Municipal Engineering Foundation Victoria has been in existence since 1966 and was established for the express purpose of providing opportunities for engineers working in local government throughout Victoria to enhance their technical and managerial skills.

This is achieved by annually awarding scholarships for research on a wide range of local and overseas study topics and I’m thrilled to announce that the Foundation has made available four scholarships for engineers from regional/rural Councils to attend the 2017 National Works & Engineering Conference.

The Conference will be held in Bendigo from 31 August – 1 September and recipients must not have been awarded another Foundation scholarship within the last five years.

We’re proud of our association with the MEFV and I commend you to take advantage of this terrific opportunity by emailing an Expression of Interest to
