Over the 2 half days, you will understand how to read a test report, including NATA scopes, the use of endorsements, and decision rules. A key theme is how to detect malpractice in a report, whether it be fraudulent laboratory reporting or subsequent alteration within the supply chain. Participants are invited to attend an option workshop to explore key themes in more depth and ask any further questions.

Diane Hobday |  Sector Manager, Materials, Assets and Products (NATA)
Diane joined NATA in June 2008 as a Lead Assessor in Medical Testing. In July 2010 she moved to the Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation Scheme (DIAS), and was appointed Accreditation Manager in August 2011. Diane has had the roles of Deputy Sector Manager, Life Sciences and Acting Sector Manager prior to her current appointment. Prior to NATA, Diane has experienced a variety of roles in pharmaceutical, medical and veterinary sectors.

Dom Meadley | NATA Technical Consultant
Dom has been involved for over 50 years in civil construction testing. He worked for CRB/VicRoads in its Materials Technology, Geotechnical and Pavement sections in testing, test analysis, methodology documentation, supervision of staff and quality and business management covering testing of aggregates, asphalt, concrete, foundations, metals, soils and pavement. He was the NATA Construction Materials Testing AAC Chairman for 10 years prior to joining NATA as a Technical Consultant. As a member of Standards Australia Committee for aggregates, asphalt, concrete, earthworks and soils since 1990, he was awarded Standards Australia Meritorious Award in 2008.
