Fine Asphalt Trials: findings and next steps
In 2013 and/or 2015 a number of councils and other organisations took part in fine asphalt trials for low volume roads. The final report on the trial’s outcome was completed in 2018 and issued to Councils and AAPA.
If you are interested in the trials’ outcomes and possible next steps, this free session will be relevant to you. Rod Ellis, project lead for the trials (in his role at Tonkin), will present a paper on the trials’ results on Thursday November 28, from 4.30pm to 6.00pm at Tonkin’s offices at 170 Frome Street, Adelaide.
At this meeting IPWEA SA wishes to engage in a conversation on the merits of continuing to support further research work in this area, and the option of IPWEA SA helping to facilitate the establishment of a special interest group in asphalt.
