Understanding Asset Management

Understanding Asset Management has been refreshed and will accommodate those people who have been managing assets for a while at an operational level and need to understand the strategic context of what they do. Asset management as a practice has been used successfully in New Zealand for the last 17 years with those organisations applying its principles seeing real business gains in the management of infrastructure assets. The Introduction to Asset Management seminar is designed specifically for managers and staff for whom asset management is a new process.

Writing, Living & Updating Asset Management Plans

Asset Management Plans are a key planning document for organisations which deliver levels of service through assets. Complementary to the Introduction to AM seminar, this seminar is a practical how-to for writing and updating an asset management plan. The seminar covers each topic of the asset management plan in turn - what is needed, linkages to others sections of the plan, good practice examples and how these might relate to different situations. The seminar will help participants to identify what they should focus on to get the most organisational value from their plan.
