Speaker: Ian Cable

  Ian Cable is the Co-Lead of Growth, and Lead on Education for the UK's Collective for Climate Action (CfCA.). Ian has an MSc in Climate Science, and is employed at the UK's Environment Agency.
Ian will speak to the successes, challenges, and lesson-learned building a cross-government network for climate action.

About the presenter: After a stint at England's Environment Agency, Ian pursued further study and gained his MSc in Climate Science at the University of Exeter, and then returned to the Environment Agency, firstly in Flood Risk Management and Community Engagement, then Waste Regulation, and currently is in Reputational Risk Management, handling complaints on Behalf of the EA's CE and Chair.

In addition to his work at the Environment Agency, Ian is building a Cross-Government Climate Hub, which hosts
the Collective for Climate Action (CfCA).  This is a place where public servants can share learning, information, work, and importantly; feelings about climate, whether they work in climate professionally or volunteer in it.
