Overview and Audience

This practical one-day course covers the key aspects of inter-relationships between the concepts of asset management and accounting.

It is important that Asset Managers understand the legal and accounting requirement that their data is used for. It is equally important that accountants understand the types and reasons for the expenditure and how this should be accounted for correctly.

The course discusses the reporting requirements and relationships between operational, maintenance and renewal strategies for infrastructure assets.
