Young IPWEA

Hello all Will Barton and I here in NSW have been having a chat about the possibility of YIPWEA representatives attending next years engineering careers day in Sydney that is attended by students from Uni's around NSW. The idea would be to get access to as many engineering students as possible and convince them that public works is a career of choice and can provide them with opportunities and experiences unique from any other career. I am interested in getting a "feel" for who would be willing to attend so we can figure out how to go about making it successfully happen. either reply to this post or send an email. And further to Anthony's invitation for expressions of interest, if we can get something together and obtain a booth at the careers expo, we would really like to have a multimedia presentation of video and still images from your projects, highlighting in as graphic terms as we possibly can, the diversity that public works offers. So if you have any interesting projects, please consider getting some still images or video (of course in accordance with any policy your organisation may have on the matter) and sending it to either Anthony or myself.
