Young IPWEA Breakfast Forum: Interview Skills & How to Market Yourself....What the Bosses Want You t

When:  Sep 25, 2019 from 06:30 to 09:00 (AWST)

Calling all Graduating students, Young Professionals & those looking to brush up their interview skills!

Are you ready to graduate and start looking for a job? Not sure what to expect or where to start?

Perhaps you're looking to change jobs and need to brush up on your interview skills? We can help!

Applying for jobs can be an intimidating experience and often causes people to feel unsure of themselves and their abilities....especially when it's your first "real" job.

Young IPWEA have put together an informational breakfast forum to provide you with some guidance on the do's and don'ts of interviews and how to always present yourself at your best.

Get tips on where to look for jobs; how to put together or edit your resume on what is relevant to the job you're applying for; how to handle interviews; what to do and not to do; and other things the bosses really want you to know.

Hear from the bosses themselves! Our presenters, Anthony Vuleta, Ian Thew and Nick Woodhouse have all been there.....they started at the bottom and have worked their way up through the ranks, and are now in high level positions within their chosen fields.

Anthony Vuleta is the CEO at the Town of Victoria Park, Ian Thew is the Group Manager - Civil at Lycopodium, and Nick Woodhouse has held several managerial level positions across the Local Government, Consulting, Construction and Private industries. They are willing to share their knowledge with you as they are passionate about supporting Young IPWEA and those entering the public works industry .

Whether you are looking to brush up on your interview skills or not, we encourage all Young Members to attend this event and share your experiences with the Curtin Students.
