Good Morning Anthony,
We have remote control water cannons mounted high on rear.
To answer your question on the issue you are having with anything front mounted and compromising airbag deployment, we went to the top on this one and engaged Isuzu chief engineer with a design we implemented for front/under mounted gutter sprayers which you can also be redirect to water grass/plants etc. We purchased Isuzu bull bars and integrated pipes for spray mounts within the structure and received approval from Isuzu that the airbag deployment would not be compromised - we did not have to arrange crash testing for this to occur. I shared our journey with other fleet managers.
Cheers Tom

Subject: Water Truck Tree Water Boom
Good afternoon all,
With summer fast approaching, I'm in the process of gaining quotes to install a tree water boom to the front of our Isuzu NPR 75-190 truck, an issue I have encountered is the SRS / airbag sensors may be compromised with this installation. How can we water street trees without compromising driver safety or ADR compliance?
Any feed back / advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks Tony
