Is there a product, preferably not black, that provides an economic and pedestrian friendly sealing of cracks/gaps 5 - 30mm? Current practice is to use Degacote (epoxy mix cement-like filler) or 7mm asphalt. This MP Rapid Set stuff is magic -  its made by Blue Circle Southern, uses NO portland cement, dries smooth and off-white and sets in about 15-20mins, 4MpA in 1 hr, 7MpA in 24hrs.  It's based on advanced magnesium phosphate cement technology (aka CeMag / Magna crete).   It's not cheap but its less than 10% of the cost of epoxy for the same job.

Hi all

We are interest in trialling M.P Rapid Set 60 for spot repairs on our footpath network.

Our concern is, from past experience using standard type rapid set concrete is the issue of growth/expansion over time causing trip hazards (mainly with signage set in footpaths).

Has anyone had growth/expansion issues using the M.P Rapid Set 60 for footpath repairs?
