Hi Jason,
Gosford City Council took on Fatality Free Friday with a strong internal promotion by holding a morning tea to sign the pledge poster with the GM and Mayor present to 'cut the cake'.
https://twitter.com/mygosford/status/340286175069753345/photo/1 Awareness was also raised through Councils Twitter and Facebook accounts before and on the day and through other less formal networks plus a formal media release issued.
It was organised by Councils newly recruited Road Safety Officer Deborah Batey and the first time Council has promoted this with a total of 67 pledges/signatures that morning and probably many more who couldn't make it but pledged on line.

I'm very curious as to how many councils, consultants or organisations associated with IPWEA have taken on Fatality Free Friday (today 31/5/13).
