Nathan Reynolds
Life Without Barriers

Life Without Barriers is a charitable organisation supporting close to 23,000 people living in over 400 communities across the nation. The organisation provides care and support services across Australia in urban, rural and remote locations so that people in need can achieve their goals and maximise their opportunities to participate as fully in society as they wish. 

Nathan started at Life Without Barriers conducting a full Fleet Review on how the organisation use their fleet. In 2014, Life Without Barriers made the decision based on the review to manage their costs more prudently by insourcing the fleet management function and leveraging telematics to allow this transition to occur. Nathan is now the organisation’s Manager - Asset Projects with oversight of approximately 1,250 vehicles that are used across Australia.

Nathan is a Chartered Accountant with 17 years’ experience across accounting, mining, facilities management, finance, registered clubs, franchises, and corporate management.

Brett Hay
Principal Consultant Expense Reduction Analysts

Having joined Expense Reduction Analysts in 2002, Brett brought a wealth of experience in senior general management roles with companies including Mobil Oil, Mitre 10, and BDS Recruit, a national recruitment firm.

With superior consulting and strategic skills, Brett has a solid understanding of the marketing and operational needs and constraints of the entrepreneurial environment of Enterprise, Corporate, and SME clients. With over 20 year’s practical experience in management, retailing and marketing, Brett has enjoyed a wide variety of challenges throughout his career

With more than 17 years in the Oil Industry, Brett has consolidated his industry expertise in Fleet management and is recognised nationally as a category specialist in this area. His advice in the areas of both cost reduction and policy compliance of large fleets is well respected in the industry.

He holds a Bachelor in Business, is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Marketing, and is president of the Cannon Hill Anglican College Foundation.


Tom Debney
Principal Consultant Expense Reduction Analysts

Tom joined ERA in 2009 from senior roles in management and operations with global organisations. Tom has extensive experience in managing organisations in Australia, Europe and Asia spending more than 2 years as Managing Director in the UK. 

With strong operational skills and extensive experience in developing and managing process, Tom has strong understanding of the needs in identifying and successfully implementing cost reduction initiatives that drive to the bottom line. With more than 20 years practical experience in leading operations management, sales and marketing, Tom has enjoyed a variety of challenges throughout his career.

Tom currently serves on a 3 privately held company boards and as a mentor for the CSIRO ON Prime lean launch program to assist researchers get clever ideas into the marketplace.


Nathan Dunlop
Tritium

Nathan Dunlop is the Head of Market Strategy at Tritium. Nathan works to understand the changing landscape and trends within the evolving e-mobility market and in turn craft strategic responses for Tritium. Nathan is particularly interested in new business models and changing unit economics in this emerging market.

Nathan has a Strategy consulting background focusing on the future of Utilities and Energy.

Alex Kelly
Electric Vehicle Council (EVC)

EVC – The Electric Vehicle Council is the peak national body representing the EV industry in Australia. The EVC represents members involved in providing, powering and supporting electric vehicles. Their engagement with a wide range of stakeholders- including local, state and federal governments – supports the advancement of a strong domestic electric vehicle industry.

Alexandra manages policy and communications at the Electric Vehicle Council with the aim of accelerating the electrification of road transport in Australia.

This work includes managing the EVC’s OEM working group and the 2019 State of EVs Report, the authoritative document on the electric vehicle sector in Australia. Alexandra also helped to design and leads work in the Charge Together Fleets program, a free tool that helps councils and corporates transition their fleets to electric vehicles.

Alexandra’s knowledge of the electric vehicle policy landscape in Australia, particularly in battery management and recycling, helps inform industry regulation and investment decision making nationally.

Warren Mashford
Manager Fleet Services City of Canterbury Bankstown

Warren Mashford has been a Fleet Manager in Local Government for the past 35 year having managed diverse LG  fleets in Victoria, Queensland and NSW, He is currently the Manager Fleet Services at Canterbury Bankstown  which is NSW largest Local Government authority.

During Warren’s career he has had extensive experience in the implementation of  “Best Practice” Fleet Management and change management having been involved in 4 different LG amalgamations within 3 different States.

Warren has the following Qualifications

  • Diploma of Automotive Business Management
  • Advanced Certificate Automotive Business Management
  • Cert IV Front Line Management
  • Cert IV Procurement
  • Cert IV Workplace Health and Safety
  • Diesel Mechanic

Simon Kinsey
Manager City Works of City of Whitehorse

The Fleet and Workshop Team provides services including:

  • Management of Council’s fleet of passenger vehicles, light commercial vehicles, heavy plant and minor equipment. This includes acquisition, disposal, servicing and maintenance
  • Mechanical servicing and operations of the workshop
  • Operations of a store to provide supplies including protective clothing, tools and other supplies
  • Coordination of the Operations Centre yard including waste removal
  • Management of the cleaning contract for the Operations Centre, Recycling and Waste Centre and Nursery.

Catherine Signh

Daniel Fischer

Dan is a Senior Engineer at Hidrive Group, with extensive Design and Compliance experience in the Automotive and Aerospace industries. Dan has been with Hidrive for 5 years and is a leader in our innovations and design area, developing innovative and compliant solutions for our clients.

Kris Browne
City of Gold Coast

Kris brings twenty years of experience with heavy vehicles/machinery to his current role at the City of Gold Coast. Equipped with the knowledge and the tickets to operate all of councils’ heavy machinery, Kris’ technical ability shone through and soon after joining council was awarded the role of Plant Inspector. In 2016 Kris joined the Fleet Asset Management team has been integral in the replacement and purchasing process of all CoGC’s heavy vehicles/machinery ever since.

Rob Wilson
Director IPWEA FLEET

Rob is Director IPWEA FLEET with overall responsibility for the development and delivery of the program.

Rob has over 30 year’s experience in Fleet Management, Asset Management and Procurement and continues to work as a consultant to the Fleet Management industry.

Rob holds qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA in Technology Management and is a qualified VET Trainer and Assessor.


Ken Goldberg
IPWEA FLEET

Ken is Consultant IPWEA FLEET with responsibility for the development and delivery of quality IPWEA FLEET program initiatives. 

Ken has significant fleet industry involvement. He draws on a wealth of industry and technical knowledge having previously been General Manager in Asia-Pacific for a prominent UK-based software company specialising in enterprise-level fleet and asset management solutions. He currently serves as Queensland Chapter Committee Chair with the Australasian Fleet Management Association and has recently been appointed Queensland Committee President for the Institute of Management Consultants. 

Ken also operates a management consulting practice working with aspiring business managers and leaders to help businesses maximise their potential. He combines a grounded analytical approach with focus on practical implementation to achieve substantive results. His tertiary qualifications include a Bachelor in Business Administration, a Master of Management, and he is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
