I also highly recommending "BACHELOR OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY "(PROFESSIONAL HONOURS IN INFRASTRUCTURE ASSET MANAGEMENT) as it gives good global understanding and clarity of Infrastructure AM.
This course assist to give good understanding of fundamentals of AM as it vastly misinterpreted based on background of practitioners who comes from various disciplinarians.
The IPWEA online Professional Certificate Asset Management Planning is an excellent starting point for your journey in asset management and has a large enrolment both in Australia and abroad. It is delivered by live webinars, how to videos, discussion forums and assignments and can be undertaken from work and/or home. At the conclusion you will have prepared a draft asset management plan for one of your assets.
IPWEA is also currently preparing a new Practice Note with the working title of "AM101". It is being developed to assist people with little or no knowledge of AM to understand the basics and will be supported by a rollout training package planned to commence in the first half of 2018. Depending on your current knowledge base this may be the better first step.
I am happy to discuss with you both these and other options or needs. I may be contacted on 0408 941 518
