Fleet, Telematics & Risk Assessment System

    Hi All,

Council is looking into fleet management system options. I am currently stuck using excel spreadsheets and councils "Synergy system" which is very limited for fleet management. We currently have telematics in some vehicles and if this could be integrated into a fleet management system as well as plant risk assessments that would be ideal. Any advice or recommendations from personal experience would be appreciated.

    Thankyou

    Regards

    Hi Sam

I'm not sure what fleet management functionality you are after, but it is worth noting that Unifleet fleet management software, which is used by a lot of Australian Councils is integrated with Plant Assessor plant risk assessment software.

On the face of it, this combines a fleet management system with a risk assessment system.  If you are interested in having a look at it, I can contact Grant Andrews from Uniqco and they can give you a look at it to see if it meets your needs.

Please let me know if you would like to have this happen.

    Regards

    Matt

    Sam,
the short answer is yes, through APIs. Application Programming Interface, Any half decent telematics system should be able to feed into internal systems or third party fleet management software.

You might like to contact Fleetio they are US based but have thousands of cars on the system in Australia.

    Poolcar.com is based in Melbourne.

These guys are very inexpensive cloud based providers.
