Looking for comments on this type of all-inclusive arrangement. Has anyone experience with the tyre mtce contracts where you pay $/km or $/hr and the contractor does everything, the main performance criteria is that your tyres are always legal and ready to go? It has been pitched to us that it is widely used elsewhere but Councils are slow on take-up. Rate includes tyres, fitting, pressure checks, repairs, etc. If your asset is not ready to go daily penalties kick-in. I guess the key is knowing what the in-house cost is first and the downtime cost to determine value for money!Mostly interested in trucks not cars.
