QPRC wish to undertake an Asset Maturity Assessment and are seeking suitable consultant's to undertake the review to ovoid possible internal bias in the outcomes.  Looking at being assessed against either NAMS or ISO55000.

We are seeking recommendations of who can undertake this package of work and can work with us to improve our overall asset management processes.

    Hi
The City of Hobart has just had GHD Advisory doing our AM Maturity assessment.  They have a great interview and workshop process that uses their Gap:id tool against their Total Enterprise Asset Management Quality Framework (TEAMQF) and the shall requirements of ISO55001.

I also took the opportunity to do 4 maturity assessment, one for the organization as a whole, and the other 3 for our 3 major asset portfolios Roads, Stormwater and Buildings.  The reason being that the organization wide view "averages" out the good and bad areas across individual asset portfolios, and the separate individual assessments highlights these distinctively.

Jason Carter and Andrew Sneesby and Warren Adams are key contacts.

    Hi Andrew,

In 2019 we (the Department of Finance (WA), Building Management and Works division) engaged AMCL to assist us with improving asset management practices for our portfolio of non-residential buildings (predominantly multi-story office accommodation). The general scope given to AMCL was:
      • Guide Finance through a structured process of assessing the current maturity level of our asset management practices and capability with reference to ISO 55001.
      • Develop a roadmap to guide the improvement of asset management practices and align Finance's approach to asset management with the relevant requirements of ISO 55001.
      • Support implementation of the asset management improvement roadmap.
AMCL have completed the first two elements of the scope and we are now gearing up to undertake the third element.

We were very happy with the comprehensive work undertaken by AMCL.  The lead assessor they used was based out of Sydney.

    Regards, Peter
